Little Q&A + Some news + Routine again!

Posted by SouSTAR - 2 weeks ago

It's been 7days (so one week) that I'm drawing Routine every day :)

(The first three drawings were made on the same day)

Here's the last one I did!

I'll continue to draw her daily, it's a nice exercise + it's nice seeing all these little illustrations together :)

Also, 48 fans in one month!!!! Wow!!! Thank you all! Thanks to the early ones too, and welcome to the new ones!!!

Im taking a lil pause in drawing, might last a week or so.

Then I'll work on the two WiP's I showed you before :)

Please tell me your thoughts ! And if you have any questions too :D

THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!!!

Where did you come from? How have you found refuge on these forsaken grounds? What's Officer Jenn's bodycount?

@blackwind677 Thank you for your questions! :D

I'm Algerian but lives in france :3

I didn't knew what was Newgrounds, and when I learned about it, I just thought it was some website for professionals or something....
Then I just I began to hear more often about it, with Punch Punch Forever, FNF, and more stuff, and I was like, "okay, what the FUCK is Newgrounds???"
Did some research and it seemed real cool, how long it's been up (1999???), and having nearly no drama : just art, games and music.
It was like... The cooler Internet? I dunno. Love Newgrounds now :D

As for Jenn's bodycount, she kill on average 5 criminals per week + her abusing parents when she was 14. , but the city is still filled with criminals because of its corrupt chief. He always "offer" his city to new gangs, more violent than the others.

Some months are more tough than the others, but she use everything to kill her opponents : headbutt, kicks, uppercuts, her car, her gun, spraying water on them and then tazing them... It's a bit of cartoonish gore :3

It's only her 2nd year now as a cop... When she doesn't kill them, she just beat them up. She's a huge fan of Batman, and she is partly inspired by Cammy White from street fighter!

(Now, I think I might draw her in Cammy's fit...)

Wanted to write a comic about her but I suck at writing, and I don't have the discipline nor motivation to write a story on the span of several months :(
Tried several times with other projects...

I'm trying to take things slower and actually start with smaller projects, like Routine :)
I hope I'll be able to write and actually not be overwhelmed with the work!

:3

It's really cool how chill and engaging you are! You got that positive aura every time I see you post. It brings a smile to my face and I thank you.

I appreciate it, huge thanks to you too!!!! You are all motivating me too!!!

Oh? What kind of new gangs? I'm always interested in criminal drama, especially with the mafia, triad, street gangs, etc. I do have ideas for another story project I'm creating. Something to do with a young female adult living with a hardened criminal guy who works for several of criminal organizations.

@BallsyMerc

I thought about something like rascals being paid by local thugs, who are paid by the mafia, who are paid by the police chief, and they protect each others.

Each criminals can have their zones of activity, and they just have to pay a price to the gang, and the police will protect them. The gang and the police chief both wins, as the gang can regulate who will do what, and the police chief can protect his credibility by ordering them to stop their activities for a moment, or by releasing them shortly after (with a price ofc), creating a sense of control to the public.

The criminals have no names, no identity, they are just here to be beaten/killed by Jenn, but ironically, the more a criminal is important, the less secretive he is. It's a bit like the same with irl gangs. You don't know who is your local thug/drug dealer, but we sure do know who is El Chapo.

Too put it simply, the city is put on a rent by the mafia, with the protection of police, in exchange of money.

Jenn can't just kill the chief, because he is well appreciated by the public, thanks to his ties with the mafia who does all they can do to distract or intimidate those who want to let the truth out. So if she kill him, she will gets jail for life.

Now I really want to write a comic about it... Maybe someday, in the far far future... XP
