Hello everyone!
I'm happy to announce that the "Daily Life of Routine" project is really paying off.
I've been super motivated to work on it, making small illustrations, everyday, even if I don't want to, really helped me. Because even when I feel lazy, I tell myself, "it's nothing. Just a 5 min. illustration", and then I spend 10 more minutes :)
I'll continue on this pace, because I feel something big will come off it. I dunno, it's just a feeling. I really want to expand Routine's story and her "lore", doing more complicated things and all, but I have to take things slower.
Taking my time, like Routine...
I will continue to draw other type of art (Jenn and Car Tomboy, random art, other artist's OC's, etc...) but Routine will obviously take a larger part of my gallery, as I will draw her every single day.
I say that because there's also people who prefer Jenn and Car Tomboy, but I save them for drawings with more time/effort put on them, where I use the current things I learned about art, like with these two :
(Learned better coloring with a mechanical pencil)
(Learned about the different color blend modes)
And other "random" drawings, where I'll experiment/practice :
So don't worry of I "only" post about Routine, it's just that drawing her is easier and faster than the other types of drawings where I'll actually try to learn something new from it.
In short,
• Routine : Spontaneous, based on whatever I feel. Drawing everyday so I don't lose motivation nor the discipline required for future bigger projects.
• Jenn & Car Tomboy = Using what I learned, Take more time because of the preparation needed.
• Others = practice and experimentations. Either a hit or a miss.
And as always, big thanks to you all!!!!
Again, if you have any questions, suggestions, please let me hear them! :3
