Is it grammatically correct?

Posted by SouSTAR - December 24th, 2024

I want to write "The nerves she got!" in my short comic but is it grammatically correct?

Or is it "She got some nerves!"?

Or maybe something else?

Comics are hard, but I really want to see it finished! :)

I'm nearly done! :3

not sure either but she got some nerves sounds better tbh

You could write "She's got some nerve!" (non-plural with emphasis on the word some), or "She's got nerves!"; that would sound more grammatically correct :)

Another alternative would be "She has nerves of steel!" or "She's got nerves of steel!", both would sound correct

@Osaka
Thank you!
I wanted to use more as to describe audacity, rudeness, than courage :)
Would that be still correct?

If you wanted to emphasize rudeness/audacity, then yes, "She's got some nerve!" would be the perfect choice for that :)

@Osaka
Thank you very much! :D

making comics is hard, but learning english is harder (i'm not english, btw) ;A;
