Dude it's exactly a dream I constantly had as a kid
Two elevators : one lead me to a dream, the other to a nightmare.
The dreamy one distorted in a way that elevators couldn't, and it was very long.
The one that lead to nightmares was just a normal one, but wouldn't stop to the floor I wanted. It was also much more detailed.
Then the doors would open, and the moment I step out, I would either wake up irl well rested or super stressed, depends on which elevator I took
