I found out that we could send manuscripts to publishers just like that. Wow.
There's no need to make studies if i want to write comics...
I think it shows with how japanese publishers works. So many works of so many styles and genres. It's not really that strict compared to some countries I guess.
I just have to find a more casual french publisher, and see what they want...
I need to do it.
I need to show my works and drawings and stuff.
I started with Newgrounds, but i need to do more. Who give a fuck about English Civilization Studies : the History of King blahblahblah.
HERE IM TALKING ENGLISH THE FUCK YOU WANT MORE?
anyway
I need to seek out french publishers and at least being featured somewhere. Before this motherfucking year ends.
Even if it's in them children magazines. You know, the little comic panels in educational magazines where they go "Hello my name is Tom and I'm a Panda!!! I'll show you the daily life of pandas!!!" And things like that.
Okay i remember now some magazines i read when i was a kid
My fellow french people might remember/know what I'm talking about : "J'aime Lire", "Okapi" oh shit there's also "I Love English". Perfect. I'll just have to flaunt my lil B2 certificate and they'll employ me im sure... Or i guess?
Oh and there's also the "Festival d'Angoulême". Pretty big. Gotta go there too sometime.
What's good is that France have a huge history with comics especially, with Belgium too. So it's actually easy to find the appropriate people and organizations for comics.
It's time.
"Bayard Jeunesse", here I come.
"Glénat" seems better
When I look at what Sarah Andersen,
Scott Cawthon did for instance, it really motivate me. Even just the very history of this site and all the series and games that came out of NG, and became full licenced indie works...
(Also did Miku really got in Fortnite? Just like that???)
